In Memory of Lee McAteer

The loss of Lee McAteer from our lives is going to affect all of us for years to come. No one knew better how to be a friend than Lee did.

The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.

The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation was chosen because this research center received very high ratings by Charity Navigator, an independent organization that rates charities for the way they are run, the transparency of their financials, and the percentage of income that goes directly to research.

The Diabetes Research Institute is a part of the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine.

The Foundation is set up to receive money and grants to further their research.
